Now on to today’s topic – Why do I have Pain ?

When your muscles are not getting enough energy you might believe that they would go loose and limp but this is not true ! I want you to think about writer’s cramps when your muscles stop getting enough energy. What happens to your muscles is that they get tight as a board and it hurts. There are multiple little painful notes called trigger points that are in the belly of the muscles where they have bunched up.

What happens is that you feel pain from those notes and your muscles will start shifting your weight to take the strain off the uncomfortable areas. The bad thing about this is that it puts the strain on other areas of your body and then pain starts moving around your body .   Also with fibromyalgia you are most likely not getting that deep restful sleep that you need which in turn you do not heal from the activities of the day which in turn contributes to pain . A good indicator that you are not getting enough deep sleep is a morning “hangover “ feeling .  A critical part of making your pain go away will be correcting your sleep deficiency.

Once your body develops chronic pain the brain actually starts to amplify the pain signal and can become the source of much of the pain you are feeling . This is called “central sensitization “. You will be interested to know  your pain can go down when you get eight to 9 hours of deep restorative sleep a night which in turn restores your energy production in your muscles and stops sending excessive pain signals to your brain.

Your action step for today is download my Free Guide called The Sleep Fix For those with Fibromyalgia .  A superior and very effective way is to raise serotonin levels which I explain in the guide which gives you that deep restful sleep so you don’t feel like a truck has hit you when you get up . By the way you can’t just buy serotonin on itself at the store .  It  is actually in the supplement  I recommend .  The link to sign up on my homepage of my website On my site you can put in your name and email. .
